Permanent Jewelry Terms and Conditions

Refund/Exchange Policy:

All permanent jewelry pieces are final as chain is custom cut and sized to fit you and the piece is then worn out of the studio. As such, we are unable to offer refunds or exchanges on any pieces once they have been welded.

 

Replacement Chains:

Our technicians employ an inspection process to ensure your jewelry is properly welded and we also ask that you check the piece to ensure the weld to your satisfaction before you exit your appointment. As such, we cannot offer replacements, refunds or discounts to replace lost chains, due to the personal nature, lifestyle and other external factors that are out of our control.

 

Repairs:

If your Permanent Jewelry breaks at the weld spot within a year of your initial appointment, we would be happy to be re-weld at no additional cost. 

For any chain breakages, cut pieces and resizing, we charge a $20 fee for repairs although we may waive the fee at our discretion depending on circumstance.

 

Care Conditions:

Our permanent jewelry chains are made from sterling silver and 14KT solid yellow gold materials.

We recommend keeping your permanent piece away from perfumes, hairspray and other chemicals as these may cause jewelry to discolour.

Chlorine, bromide and other cleaning agents typically found in pools and hot tubs can cause breakage with jewelry pieces so we recommend limiting exposure to these. If you do swim or enjoy the hot tub/spa, we recommend washing your piece with soap and water immediately following so the chlorine does not sit in the crevices of the piece.

Although not common when worn, sterling silver naturally has the ability to tarnish as a result of the alloys mixed with the silver to make it durable. If you do find your silver turning black, you can clean it with a polishing cloth and it look shiny and new again!

 

Managing Expectations

Permanently welded jewelry offers a claspless design which increases durability but it is important to note that permanent does not mean "indestructible" and that breakage can still occur based on lifestyle. Over time, wear & tear, sleeping habits, and exposure to chemicals may compromise the chain’s strength so while we aim for your jewelry to last forever, realistic expectations are crucial. If welded jewelry doesn’t align with your lifestyle, consider opting for our custom-fitted jewelry with a secure clasp for a more suitable choice.

Appointment Cancellation Policy:

As a courtesy to our staff and customers, we ask for a $25 deposit at the time of booking which will be applied to your total following the appointment. 

We understand that things do arise so if you need to cancel your appointment, we ask that you please give us at least 24 hours notice if you are unable to make it so we can release the spot for others to book.

If you cancel your appointment less than 24 hours prior to your scheduled time or fail to attend your appointment without notice, this deposit will automatically be forfeit and will not be refunded or applied towards any future purchases.

Appointment Late Arrivals:

Toronto is a bustling city so there always seems to be traffic, construction and/or transit delays. Please ensure you give yourself enough time to arrive to our studio as each appointment is short and we wouldn't want you to miss it!

If you are running late, please feel free to give us a call at 437-999-1333 so we can advise. We will try to accommodate late arrivals if possible but your appointment time is not guaranteed if arrive more than ten minutes late.

If we are unable to accommodate you do to a late arrival, you may be required to re-book for another day/time and deposits are not carried over or refunded.
